These last few weeks have FLOWN by. I babysat Eric's 5 year old cousin all weekend, we went to Arizona to look for apartments, went shooting and saw the fam (both his and mine!!) Here are some pics of all the excitement!
Ok, so this is not from this weekend or one close to this weekend... This picture was taken right after we were sealed and were done with all the pictures at the temple :) I just came across it and thought it was cute, so I decided to put it on the blog! It's my favorite smirk face!!! I believe shortly after I took this one of us said "Man, We're MARRIED!" LOL

Ok, Ok... So I'm guilty again! This was taken at Toys R Us over Thanksgiving weekend. We went to find Mexican Train (a game) and not only found the game, but this sweet cycling game too!
So two or three weekends ago I babysat Jessica. She is so sweet and cute, we just love her to death! Don't get me wrong, we were VERY happy to be able to give her back on Sunday night after having her stay with us the weekend.. Lets just say that babysitting is the way to have kids! You get to have them for the fun and give them back when they're done! Here are the cookies we made. We had cookie dough left over and made some after she left, but for those of you who know Eric or any boy well, they were not appropriate to photograph and post. Not his anyway.. Mine were cute, a fish and circles. Anyway, so Jess and I made these little beauties! This cookie dough looks like playdouh and even comes in individual containers that are like big playdough containers! It was a little messy, but not too bad. They were pretty good too!

Here is Eric playing xbox with his controller... Or is it?....

Eric made an awesome dinner that night too! It's all about the presentation!
Now we're on to Arizona... We went last weekend to look for apartments. We left on Thursday morning and were lucky enough to get there in time to spend a couple of hours with my parents before they went home! We looked for apartments for 4-5 hours on Friday and Saturday, and even had 3 to see on Sunday on the way home! Lets just say that all the leasing officers could tell we had been looking all weekend! Lol! We found a lot of nice apartments. The rent there is sooooo much cheaper than CA. The problem was that since I don't have a job there yet we don't know how much we can afford to pay for rent :/ We found a sweet 2 bed 2 bath that we REALLY liked, but it was $769/mo which in CA is no big deal, but when you dont have a job and are the only one working... It becomes a big deal. So we opted for the 2 bed one bath for $710, but we'll see. We might be able to get a hook up with the other one, so I'll have to keep you posted! This is Daisy, my brother Steven's dog. She is so sweet and just wants to be loved and pet!

This is Smegul, or Gollumn. This dog barks all the time! By the end of our stay she was only really barking at Eric. She let me pet her, but if Eric so much as looked at her she would freak out! Oh, and her real name is Harley. She LOOKS like Smegul tho! lol (and that's what we call her)

A trip to AZ is not complete with out shooting some guns! Just call me Indiana Jones! (You probably thought I would say Bond, James Bond. But that gun is just like the handguns the Nazi's use in The Last Crusade, or was it the Quest for the Holy Grail... Whatever! It's the Indiana Jones movie with Ilsa and Hitler signs the Dad's Grail diary. Every time I see that part I think "I bet that signature would be worth a lot of money today.." that and "That diary is SWEET! I want it, and I want to study all the clues and find the grail myself!" I know I know.. I'm a dork, oh well!)
Aww bonding!! James Bond-ing that is! lol! ok, I'll stop.. (the guy in the black hat is my bro Steven btw.)

I'm sorry, I can't seem to find my compass, which way is it to Phoenix?

And last, but not least. You find some pretty sweet characters at the shooting range! I present the one the ONLY Crocodile Dun Dee!!!
We saw a REAL cowboy too, but I didn't get a picture! He had a silk vest, boots, black hat (like in tombstone), leather gun holster belt with two pistols (one on each hip), a knife on the back of the belt AND the belt was even loosely hanging on his hips and slanted to one side! Oh, and I was a cowgirl! I shot Steve's "John Wayne" gun, a Colt 45. It's my new favorite! :)
